Hi, my name is Sabita Devi Baliraj and I am the Speech Improvement teacher at Morris Campus. I am located in Room 206.   I provide mandated speech and language services to those students who have been referred, tested, and diagnosed as speech impaired. These students experience language problems that run the gamut from poor semantic skills, syntactic difficulties, lack of pragmatic skills to poor articulation skills. I provide speech and language remediation for the duration of a class period. A few times a week I see some students in a collaborative setting.  I evaluate students to measure strengths and weaknesses, write progress reports, and annual goals and short term objectives. I update students' performances and modify services as well as decertify and terminate services as warranted.
